Missing You

The colors blend, swirl and fade
Long hours of progress made
Quiet nights of solitude
A cold haven where non intrude

Weariness creeps over tired soul
An exhaustion hidden, few know
What, I wonder, when and where
How I wish I could be there

So far away, so far apart
A vague emptiness within my heart
In all that I say, all that I do
Know that I am here, missing you
